Plantain Mosa

Also known as Plantain Mosa (Plan-cakes / Plantain Puffs)

Ripe plantain mashed with flour, onion and pepper, then fried in spoonfuls. Different from ojojo (water yam) and from dodo.

Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe plantains
  • ½ cup of flour
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 Atarodo, chopped
  • Salt and a pinch of sugar
  • Oil for frying

Method

  1. 01

    Mash the plantain. Mix in flour, onion, pepper and salt to a thick batter.

  2. 02

    Fry spoonfuls in medium-hot oil until browned on both sides. Drain and serve hot.
